The accumulation of muscle memory is done unconsciously, in the body’s response to repetitive movements. In this series, objects are created by tapping into both the physical and emotional components of this idea of muscle memory. The foundation for the structures begins with a blank profile that focuses on form and functionality. As the elements are rearranged and reconstructed, the sculptures take on new meanings and begin to unravel the emotional attachments we hold to inanimate objects of interest.
